When visiting the Front Porch Store, guests have many handcrafted items to choose from. While the store is reminiscent of an old-time country store, all home décor items are handcrafted (including the furniture too!) with loving hands by our artisans with disabilities. The Front Porch Café & Store serves to provide a greater significance for the clients it serves. The café and store were both created to provide a working and training environment for individuals with developmental disabilities. Both settings provide these individuals opportunities to learn valuable skills in the workplace.

The café and store are a part of GentleBrook’s family of businesses, many people don’t know that The Front Porch Café and Store are alsonot-for-profit.

Any profits go directly back into programs and services that GentleBrook provides for its developmentally disabled clients. The goal is to create meaningful opportunities for disabled individuals, helping them to achieve a fulfilling life, rich with opportunities.
